What We Do
A physical therapist’s role is to assist the patient return to maximal physical function. This is accomplished by evaluating the patient’s movement patterns, posture, strength and flexibility.
Occupational therapy focuses on an individual’s ability to perform the broad range of activities of daily living such as dressing, eating and personal hygiene; promoting independence by improving the skills required to perform these activities.
Speech therapy focuses other ability to understand words, the ability to use words to express yourself, the ability to organize your thoughts and help develop strategies for declining memory and cognition.
Who We Are
Pain and loss of function can be the result of injury, illness, disease, surgery or the result of the natural aging process. Therapy focuses on decreasing pain and regaining lost function. These therapies can be provided alone or in combination depending on the individual needs of each patient.
